This is the age to learn. Learn, so that you can do what you want to do in the future. Well, I don’t know what to do in my future! Did that pop in your head as well? In that case, what we can do is follow whatever curriculum has been designed for us by experienced people. As we tread on that path, we realise what we like and what we don’t. What interests us and what doesn’t.
Learning is not about EXCELLING. Not according to me. It is more about knowing our weaknesses and overcoming them at the earliest. If I want to fool myself now saying that I know everything, then hello! I do need to look back. Well, one may fool themselves or their parents or friends and family. Trust me it won’t work.
Portraying that one knows a lot compared to others is a sin. The vibes it gives out often tends to hurt people until some time. And then people realise what you are doing and don’t give a damn about you.
At the same time, feeling low about temporary( quiz or a course or a semester) performance should not affect our spirit and the zeal inside us.
One last thing (so that I can keep it short):  Life is a long journey. You never knew when it began and won’t know when it will end. Outperforming our classmates in one quiz or a course shouldn’t be the motto. We have a huge world filled with a lot of problems ahead. Let's face it.

Disclaimer: My personal view without any intentions of hurting anyone. :)

  1. Like your view on learning. I wonder about these things a lot. And find that my views and opinions change with time.
    Interesting observations though :)

  2. Third year na. So thinking :) Thanks a lot! :)

  3. @pavan and lucky: glad that you liked it :)

  4. Interesting thoughts! :-) As they said in 3 Idiots, "kaamyab banne ke liye nahi, kaabil banne ke liye padhdho". Learning should always be directed towards becoming more capable, NOT more successful. And once it's done that way, "kaamyabi jhak maarke peechhe aa jayegi" :-)

  5. Wow, what a difference between the T5E one and this one !!
Now I get the point :)

BTW, good one. Didn't expect such stuff from a kid like you ;)
